Grace Farms

Molly Gochman’s Red Sand Project floor installation at Grace Farms features a large rectangle thinly covered with red sand. By pouring millions of grains of sand in the concentrated area, the layers of sand will grow as participants’ spiritual contributions and commitment to the movement against human trafficking and vulnerabilities that can lead to exploitation combines as one.

When they complete their action, participants will rinse their hands in rose petal infused water as a gesture of the much-needed cleansing needed in our world – and the visual proof that change can happen. In taking away red sand back to their communities, the hope is to inspire learning and action by others.

Like tiny grains of sand, small actions can add up to to big change.
